Tom is the communication and engagement coordinator for Nesta Cymru, joining in June 2024.

Tom started his career working in the higher education sector. He has previously worked at Hertfordshire Students’ Union, Cardiff Students’ Union and most recently Cardiff University (2017-2023). 

After ten years working in higher education, Tom returned to study in September 2023, undertaking an MA in Political Communication at Cardiff's School of Journalism, Media and Culture. 

Outside of work Tom enjoys creative writing and going to the cinema. He has been a member of a Cardiff-based writing group since 2016 and has volunteered at Cardiff's LGBTQ+ film festival Iris since 2017.
