Senior Researcher, Government Innovation
Theo was a Senior Researcher in Nesta's Research, Analysis and Policy Team
His primary interests lie in the role of ICTs in improving citizen engagement, and how data and technology are changing the nature of policy making and democracy. Theo also runs a monthly newsletter for public sector innovators called Lab Notes, covering issues ranging from design thinking to collective intelligence, and their role within government innovation teams around the world.
Prior to Nesta he worked at the think tank Demos and the mental health charity Blue Smile in Cambridge. He volunteers for South London Cares, and previously volunteered for Serlo, an open-source educational website.
Theo holds a Master's in Politics and International Relations from the University of Cambridge, and an undergraduate degree in Politics from the University of Warwick.
