Simon is a creative technologist in the Design & Technology team.

Before joining Nesta, Simon worked as a senior developer at Christians Against Poverty, creating and maintaining tools to help people manage their money and find a route out of poverty. He has developed software in a range of environments, but is a firm believer of working across disciplines to create high-quality products that help people.

Simon has a background in mathematics and computer science with a touch of biology, and has also spent a lot of time tinkering and developing software in his free time.

Outside of work, Simon enjoys doing DIY, running, climbing, reading and learning new things.
