Research Assistant
Shane was a research assistant within the Policy and Research team.
Prior to joining Nesta Shane worked with the Cork innovates project as part of the Chamber network he has also travelled extensively and while living in New Zealand worked as a researcher for the National Centre for Research on Europe hosted by the University of Canterbury. In his final year of undergraduate Shane was elected to lead all political activities and policy communication as Deputy President of an 18,000 strong Students’ Union.
Outside of Nesta, he can be found nose deep in political and polling papers, bemoaning a rugby referee’s eyesight or lost in a park.
Shane holds a BA (Hons) in Political science and History from University College Cork and is currently undertaking an MBS in Innovation in European business.
