Digital Communications and Events Specialist, Challenge Works
Seoana works in the Challenge Works Communications team, working across our different prizes and programmes.
She leads our digital marketing campaigns, inspiring more people to enter our prizes by facilitating the growth of an engaged community of solvers via our social media channels and supporting the development of Challenge Works digital presence via social media strategies and website development. She also leads on events management for our prizes, supporting the team with organising engaging and informative hybrid events.
As well as this, she is a keen member of the Challenge Works supergroup, which aims to create a working environment and culture where every member feels empowered to achieve their full potential. Supporting the mental wellbeing of others is something Seoana is passionate about both inside and outside of work and she also holds a Level 2 Certificate in Counselling Skills, as well as volunteering as a Crisis Counsellor for Shout UK.
She has a BA (Hons) in Writing Fashion and Culture which led to numerous roles in magazine publishing, which is where she developed an interest in digital marketing. After working in the public sector as a senior digital communications officer for Barking and Dagenham Council, she came to Challenge Works to utilise her social media marketing and management experience for projects she was passionate about, including tackling social isolation and empowering women and girls.
Outside of work, Seoana writes about her experiences as a millennial mum on Substack. She is also a self-confessed bookaholic who always has at least three books on the go.
