Senior Events Coordinator
Pedro was a Senior Events Coordinator in the events team of Nesta and was responsible for providing high level support for the delivery of both internal and external events and for the end-to-end management of a portfolio of events working closely with Policy & Programme colleagues, the Head of Events and Festivals and the wider communications team.
Pedro has over 3 years of experience in the events industry, working in different positions from volunteer to organiser. Pedro is fully involved in the production of FutureFest, the European Social Innovation Competition, and other high profile and high impact events. Prior to his work at Nesta, Pedro has worked as Operations Assistant at Active Communications Europe (ACI), a leader in conference planning and production. He also founded a non-profit organisation in Portugal, where he organised tourism, entertainment and volunteering projects. Pedro holds a Master’s degree in Events Management, awarded with Distinction at the University of Greenwich.
