Researcher, Alliance for Useful Evidence
Mariola is a Researcher for the Alliance for Useful Evidence in Scotland based in the offices of the Carnegie UK Trust, Dunfermline.
Her role involves conducting research and writing reports exploring the use of evidence in different areas with a particular focus on Scotland.
Dr Mariola Tarrega is an experienced social researcher with skills in qualitative data analysis, policy-making, media and public relations. She holds a PhD in Political Public Relations from Queen Margaret University, worked as an Insight Officer within the policy and public affairs team for Marie Curie, and was previously a Teaching Fellow within the University of Stirling’s Department of Media and Communications.
Outside of work, Mariola enjoys travelling and watching independent films. She is also working on journal articles and book chapters from her doctoral thesis.
