Analyst, sustainable future mission

Marine is a Wales-based analyst within Nesta’s sustainable future mission.
Marine joined Nesta from the Institute of Welsh Affairs, an independent think tank, where she worked as Communications, Media and Engagement Officer for three years to help further the organisation’s reach. She was also the digital editor of the IWA’s in-house publication The Welsh Agenda, one of Wales’ oldest current affairs magazines. Prior to this, she completed a PhD in English Literature at Cardiff University and completed a placement at the Senedd’s Research Commission which motivated her move to policy. She previously lived in Reims, Paris and Glasgow.
Outside work, Marine dedicates her time to weightlifting and running, enjoying Cardiff’s lively music scene, and getting involved in her community through volunteering.
