Mission Manager, fairer start mission
Lizzie is a mission manager for Nesta’s fairer start team, managing its data and detection work.
Before this role, Lizzie worked as the senior quantitative analyst in the fairer start team. Prior to Nesta, she was at University College London (UCL) as a research fellow. In collaboration with local authority partners she worked on projects that aimed to support local authorities to better use their administrative data to understand and address local health inequalities.
Lizzie completed her PhD in epidemiology and applied health research at UCL. Her PhD explored the value of linking health and local authority data to better understand and address social determinants of health. She also holds an MSc in clinical mental health sciences from UCL and a BA in neuroscience from the University of Oxford.
In her spare time, she enjoys travelling and cooking.
