About Nesta

Nesta is an innovation foundation. For us, innovation means turning bold ideas into reality and changing lives for the better. We use our expertise, skills and funding in areas where there are big challenges facing society.

Fernanda is a researcher at Challenge Works.

Her expertise lies in qualitative research and design methods applied to public sector innovation. She previously worked as a researcher at the Public Innovation Lab of the Public Policy Centre at PUC Chile, where she engaged in the redesign of public services and the development of innovation projects on a wide range of pressing issues, such as science and technology, social innovation, and child protection services.

She is passionate about creating practical, innovative solutions for complex challenges. Fernanda focuses on improving citizens' experiences with public services, fostering cross-sector collaboration, and promoting sustainable, inclusive development. She holds an MPA in Innovation, Public Policy and Public Value from UCL's Institute for Innovation and Public Purpose, a Master's in Sociology from PUC Chile, and an undergraduate degree in Sociology from the same institution.

Outside of work, Fernanda enjoys taking long walks around the city and capturing moments with her analogue camera.
