Elettra is a programme manager and manages the £40 million Water Breakthrough Challenge as part of the Ofwat Innovation Fund.
Before Challenge Works, Elettra worked for a not-for-profit based at SOAS, University of London, collaborating with national and international academic partners to tell the stories of marginalised communities across the globe through comics and animations.
Developing connections and materials for UK schools based on the comics fuelled her curiosity for the education sector and brought her to acquire a certificate as a teacher of English for foreign students.
Outside of work, Elettra is passionately climate concerned and enjoys discussing ways to tackle the climate crisis we live in with an eye to intersectionality. She also grows veggies, is an avid reader of fiction, and loves exploring (restaurants) in London.
