Christiana Rosales

Christiana leads venture design within the Mission Studio, formulating novel tech start-ups that aim to deliver impact at scale.

Christiana brings a range of experiences from across the early-stage start-up ecosystem. She began her career as a mechanical engineer at an electric vehicle start-up before pivoting into venture capital. More specifically, she was drawn to the venture studio model which combines her creative drive and strategic perspective on investing. Christiana has worked at a series of venture studios including Newlab, a Brooklyn-based institution focused on deep tech and Founders Factory, a British corporate venture builder. Prior to joining Nesta, she was the investment manager for the Techstars NYC Powered by J.P. Morgan accelerator.

Christiana holds a BS in Mechanical Engineering with a double minor in Architecture and Energy Studies from the Massachusetts institute of Technology (MIT) and an MBA from the Columbia Business School.
