Nesta is an innovation foundation. For us, innovation means turning bold ideas into reality and changing lives for the better. We use our expertise, skills and funding in areas where there are big challenges facing society.
Research Intern
Anna joined Nesta as an intern at the research and policy department last January. She did research into the evolution of a new music genre from a network perspective.
During her time at Nesta, Anna was a Master's student in 'Complex Systems Science' at the University of Warwick. She holds a Bachelor in Econometrics.
Next to her academic interest in systems and innovation, Anna has done various jobs and voluntary work in the field. For example, she consulted with companies on how to optimize their knowledge systems at the Dutch Company named 'Knowledge Values' and gave strategic advice to SMEs at the Dutch version of 'The Young Consultant' - a student run consultancy.
Currently she is living in the Netherlands and working at a small startup, United Academics, building an online library for open access scientific papers.
