Nesta’s nine-goal EDI strategy includes specific targets for improving our staff diversity, pay equity and people’s sense of inclusion. Over the past year, we have been focused on driving equity within our organisation, supporting our diverse community of staff and ensuring the work we do helps tackle exclusion and equalises outcomes.
This report details the progress we’ve made and what we are now focused on. It includes data about the diversity of our people and our current pay gaps as well as detail on the changes we’ve made to our policies and recruitment processes. This report does not draw a line under our EDI work; we simply believe that holding ourselves publicly accountable for our commitments is paramount to driving progress.
By publishing this report, we are recommitting to the goals we have set. Our journey to tackle inequalities within our organisation and through the work that we do is ongoing. While we are proud of the progress Nesta has made over the past year, we are far from satisfied.
