MAWWFire Service covers 4,500m2 in a predominantly rural area of Wales, and operates 92 fire appliances (or fire engines to you and me). From petrochemical industries in Milford Haven, to large farming communities in Powys, the service is required to have the right equipment when it is needed.
Mid and West Wales Fire and Rescue Services has been awarded £30,000 to use artificial intelligence to predict the way that vital safety equipment is procured, stored and accessed across MAWWFR Service’s 58 fire stations.
