ShareLab Scotland supports organisations to develop and test collaborative business models that make an impact on social issues. Meet our five new grantees.
For the past two years, Nesta has been working to grow evidence and understanding of how collaborative platforms - and models employed by sharing economy titans such as Uber and Airbnb - could be used for social good.
Building on the success of the ShareLab Fund, we’ve partnered with the Scottish Government to find and support viable projects that use collaborative digital platforms to create positive social impact in innovative, scalable ways.
Funded by the Scottish Government and delivered by Nesta, ShareLab Scotland offered grants of £15,000 - £33,000 for organisations delivering benefit to communities within Scotland.
Here, the five organisations we’re supporting through the fund tell us more about their projects and their plans to develop their ideas over the coming months.
