Campaign Bootcamp is a year-long course for young campaigners who want to change the world.

It teaches young people the technical and campaign skills they need to implement change within their communities and organisations.

Campaign Bootcamp was set up in August 2012. Its team of co-founders recognised that the charity sector is woefully unrepresentative and not many campaigners have the skills to lead until they’ve been in the job for many years. Thus, Campaign Bootcamp was born.

The idea is to provide training and hands on experience to young campaigners through workshops, skill sessions, discussion groups and real life scenarios.

The company actively supports people who are not always represented in the campaigning sector particularly women, people with disabilities and people of marginalised cultures, faiths and ethnicities. Previous Bootcamp graduates have gone onto work at 38 Degrees, the UN and the Labour Party.

The Bootcamps are now being scaled internationally - one has already taken place in Germany, and many more are in the works.
