Creative Enterprise Programme (CEP) is a practical capacity-building programme that supports creative entrepreneurs to establish and grow their businesses in a variety of disciplines (arts and culture, fashion, handicrafts, publishing, and performance arts to name a few). Nesta’s active partnership with the British Council has concluded, but the programme continues to be delivered around the world.
Originally developed from the Creative Enterprise Toolkit, the programme underwent a major redesign in 2016 to make it more compatible with wider regional and local creative economy agendas, generate longer-term impact, and build a lasting legacy. We embarked on a global roll-out; between November 2016 and February 2020, CEP took place in 25 countries to more than 1,800 creative entrepreneurs.
These are just some of the stories from inspiring entrepreneurs who have benefited from being part of CEP.
