People’s diets are inextricably linked with the conditions that they live in: their food environment. It’s more important than ever to ensure people have access to affordable food that is good for their health and the planet. What steps does the government need to take to improve the nation’s health?

In partnership with The Food Foundation and hosted by Bright Blue, we brought together an expert panel to discuss ideas for building better food environments across the UK. Our speakers deep dived into the government’s food strategy, explored how the food sector can take responsibility for the health of consumers and discussed the steps needed to end food poverty.
