This event took place on Wednesday 15 March. The recording is available below and you can access the slides here.

The concept of ‘due diligence’ seems to go hand-in-hand with raising investment – but what exactly does it mean? What does it involve and how can arts & culture organisations be more empowered to go through this process?

In this webinar we discussed:

  • Why social investors undertake due diligence and why it might be helpful for your organisation
  • What information investors need to see & how to prepare for this
  • Relevant documentation – cashflow forecasts, management accounts, business plans, social impact reports
  • Common issues or challenges that arise during the due diligence process and how organisations can best prepare for these

By the end of the webinar, we hoped that participants were in a stronger position to begin conversations with social investors and have firmer control of their business processes.
