Nesta at the Labour Party Conference
The UK needs to make significant progress in the buildings sector, and homes specifically, over the next few years to meet both interim Carbon Budgets and the 2050 Net Zero target. Labour’s ambitious Warm Homes Plan envisages a step change in the pace at which homes are upgraded to reduce carbon emissions, tackle fuel poverty and improve people’s lives.
Nesta, in partnership with the Carbon Trust, hosted a private roundtable at the Labour Party Conference to bring together sector leaders who can help deliver the government’s goals and discuss steps the new government can take to achieve its aims.
