We are delighted to be partnering with the British Council and the Foreign & Commonwealth Office to design and deliver a UK-Pacific Alliance Seminar.
This will be an opportunity for our Global Innovation Policy Accelerator teams to 'celebrate' and 'communicate' their projects achievements and lessons from participating in the programme.
With the objective of sharing good practices between the UK and the Pacific Alliance in matters related to innovation, the British Council and the Foreign & Commonwealth Office, in partnership with the Global Innovation Policy Accelerator supported by the Newton Fund, are organising a seminar entitled 'Strengthening the innovation ecosystems of the Pacific Alliance: putting higher education at the heart of successful innovation policy and practice'. The event will take place on the 22 and 23 of March in Valparaiso, Chile.
The seminar is expected to convene approximately 150 people, including policymakers from the UK and Pacific Alliance countries. These will be policymakers involved in promoting linkages between industry and higher education institutions (HEIs), including through the application of enabling frameworks for HEIs in the areas of research and innovation; and practitioners from HEIs; as well as representatives from businesses that have developed robust partnerships with HEIs.
